Marble is often seen as one of the go-to options but due to the vast limitations of this material in a busy kitchen environment, marble-look quartz colours are a perfect alternative, especially with darker units.
Black or dark granites are perfect for a strong contrast against lighter units, in spaces wishing to keep more of a rustic charm to their traditional environment.
